What material can soft metallic heat transfer vinyl be applied to?
Soft metallic HTVÂ applies to: Cotton, Uncoated Polyester, Fabric Blends, Polyester/Acrylic, and Similar Fabrics (Not suitable for treated or dyed garments),Nylon materials will not work.

As we all know,t shirt vinyl is also known as iron on vinyl,Both heat presses and irons can be used for transfer printing.If you don’t have a heat press at home,an iron can also transfer your design onto t shirt.
How to transfer your design with a heat press?
1.Put the soft metallic heat transfer vinyl on cutting machine, and adjust the pressure and velocity.
2.Select the image that you want to print on computer, and select mirror image, then click on button of cutting.
3.Cut design and weed vinyl. Cut the carved patterns from the heat press vinyl, and tear off the parts that you don’t need, a picture is ready for using.
4.Place material on the heat press and put your vinyl design in the area you want to press.
5.Place a cover sheet (Teflon paper or Parchment paper) over your design and press with medium pressure at 135~145℃ for 10-15 seconds.
6.Open heat press, hot peel application for best results.
7.Remove your textile from heat press and complete your design.
How to use soft metallic HTV with an iron?
1.Put the soft metallic HTV vinyl on cutting machine, and adjust the pressure and velocity.
2.Select the image that you want to print on computer, and select mirror image, then click on button of cutting.
3.Cut design and weed vinyl. Cut the carved patterns from the heat transfer vinyl for t shirts, and tear off the parts that you don’t need, a picture is ready for using.
4.Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen pending the item you are pressing.
5.Place on flat hard surface (Iron board is not recommended).
To achieve best application press, don’t use the iron steam function.
6.Place a cover sheet (Teflon paper or Parchment paper) over your design and press iron with firm pressure straight down for 30-35 seconds /section.
Tip: Don’t move iron slide to slide.
7.After iron finish,hot peel application for best results.
Warm tips:
1.Make sure there are no wrinkles on the material.
2.If you are having trouble, try turning the shirt 90 degrees and pressing again, this should eliminate problems from cold spots.
3.If it is your first time to do DIY with this iron on vinyl for shirts, please take an old t-shit to practice first.Cut small pieces of heat transfer and try raising or lowering your temperature, or pressing longer or for less time.
When you are sure you know how to do the DIY project, you can start your creation. .
Care Instructions:
1.For best care we suggest waiting 24 to 48 hours before washing your garment.
2.It is recommended to turn the item inside out and wash it in cold water.
3.It is recommended to dry or hang items on a low setting for optimal care.
4.It is recommended to stay away from chlorine bleach.
